Topic sentence

In my opinion the topic sentence is states the main idea of the paragraph, for example thanks to the rain; we had a free day off from college.

Supporting sentence

 For the supports sentence is talking about the topic with details, for example the flood started at 8:00 P.M. the night before.  At first, the rain began to fall hardly and the water from drain began to full and all the water slowly surrounding the ground and the road.  Around 9:00 P.M. the rain started coming even harder and harder. The next morning they announced that college were closed!  The rain never stopped until 11:00 A.M.

Concluding sentence

The last one in a paragraph is concluding sentence which is talking about the closing sentence which we have to restates the topic of the paragraph to reminds us what the paragraph taking about for example,  thanks to the rain and flood, we had a free day off from college.

Raining and the Flood Day

Thanks to the rain, we had a free day off from college. The flood started at 8:00 P.M. the night before.  At first, the rain began to fall hardly and the water from drain began to full and all the water slowly surrounding the ground and the road.  Around 9:00 P.M. the rain started coming down harder and harder. The next morning they announced that college were closed!  The rain never stopped until 11:00 A.M. Thanks to the rain and flood, we had a free day off from college.
